Canadian Building Envelope Science and Technology

Established in 1985 by Mr. Elie Alkhoury. CAN-BEST (Canadian Building Envelope Science and Technology) is an independent, wholly Canadian owned company specializing in Building Envelope research, testing, investigation and  consulting. Since its beginning, CAN-BEST has helped hundreds of clients in all facets of Building Envelope development, design testing and evaluation.

CAN-BEST operates its own ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory that is instrumental in providing research and evaluation services not only to high-profile and sensitive building projects, but also to ordinary residential, office and institutional buildings. 

Independence and Confidentiality

CAN-BEST is divest of any direct interest in product marketing.  Total independence and confidentiality is demonstrated and assured through its commitment to maintain accreditation by  major accreditation bodies such as SCC and AAMA.
